The R.A.D is an unofficial database of MMIP databases with the purpose of being an organized central hub for MMIP resources, activism opportunities, and support groups for families. The R.A.D intends to track every reported Missing and Murdered Indigenous women and person in Canada, paying special respect to emphasizing the soul of these people, rather than displaying them as a dehumanized statistic – a method to both honour their memory and families.
This is a non-profit initiative. 70% of any proceeds collected through fundraising events will be donated to No More Silence, an MMIW and family supports organization to uplift their community work, and the remaining 30% will be donated to the Blood Tribe Council and Kainai Nation, as administration of this database rests upon their land, and borders their reserve.
